Want to get involved with your local community? Or need community service hours? Become a volunteer for Main Street Markham at the various events we host throughout the year!


Current Opportunities:

We are currently looking for events for the following events:

- Farmers' Market (Saturdays May 13th - October 7th)
- Music on Main (Fridays June 23rd - Sept 1st)
- Admin/Content Creation (May 13th - Sept 1st)
- Main Street Trick or Treat (

Duties Include

• Set up and tear down 
• Providing customer assistance & general information
• Guide pedestrian traffic
• Wear mascot costumes and interact with the community
• Assisting vendors/performers as needed
• Helping with Admin functions (data entry, content scheduling)
• Content creation

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Positive, helpful and professional attitude
• Flexible and adaptable
• Ability to work well with others
• Knowledge of Canva, Meta, Instagram, Tikitok, Youtube, Go Pro an asset
