Volunteer positions are open to people of all ages and previous experience is not required.
This is a great opportunity to have fun, meet people in the community, get volunteer service hours for school and obtain experience in event management!

 

Location: Volunteer positions will take place on Main Street Markham with check-in located at 132 Robinson Street.

Most of our events are ‘rain or shine’ - please be prepared for all weather (hat, sunscreen, water, rain gear as needed). Full training provided. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

 

Duties Include

  • Event setup and tear-down (tents, weights, barricades, sound equipment, signage and misc items)
  • Providing customer assistance & general information
  • Running games, activities & promotions
  • Guiding pedestrian traffic
  • Distributing promotional materials
  • Assisting vendors/musicians/staff as needed


Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Positive, helpful and professional attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work well with others
