Saturday September 18 - Michael Lajko of Mr. Hungarian Restaurant

Just when you thought it was over, we've extended the Celebrity Chef series! Be sure to be there on Saturday at 11AM on September 18, when Master Chef Michael Lajko demonstrates how to prepare one of the famous dishes from Mr. Hungarian Restaurant. Limited seating available. Samples to follow, while quantities last.

Saturday August 7 - Mario Folco of Folco's

Saturday August 7, record crowds turned out to see Master Chef Mario Folco, from Folco's Ristorante, demonstrate how to make 3 of his all-time biggest selling dishes, using Folco's Fresh Homemade Tomato Sauce (now on sale in the restaurant); Pasta Primavera, Penne Arrabiata (angry pasta), and Penne Alla Vodka. Saturday July 24 - Shaun Kelly of Al Dente Restaurant
Saturday July 24, Shaun Kelly, Master Chef from Al Dente Italian Restaurant, prepared his special Grilled Salmon with Orange Tarragon Butter on Farm Fresh Greens with Candied Pecans. Here's his recipe:

Salad:
Mixed greens, some diced tomato, yellow or red peppers (optional)
Pecans warmed in sugar and Cajun spice, bake until golden brown, let cool and add to greens. Can shred some cheese of your liking to top of salad

Raspberry vinaigrette:
1 cup canola oil, ¼-1/3 cup of raspberry vinegar or to taste, raspberries, salt and pepper to taste, ½ tsp Dijon, blend together in a Cusinart or hand blender

Grill salmon (optionally bake in oven) - approx. 4oz per person

Butter compote:
4oz of butter, orange juice, some tarragon or thyme or sage, all fresh
Blend together well and let set in fridge

Plating:
Salad, lightly tossed lightly with Raspberry vinaigrette
Salmon (hot from grill)
Small amount of Orange Tarragon Butter

Saturday June 5, Master Chef Shyam Thapa prepared a specialty from the kitchens of The Bombay Grill; Fresh Roasted Garden Vegetables with Indian Spices and The Tandori-style Barbecued Chicken. YUM! Mouthwatering... Visit The NEW Bombay Grill and ask Owner Victor Nath for the recipe.
